I've bought my cambelt and tension kit from GSF Car parts for about £65, and getting it fitted for £70 from a garage my mate knows very well.
So paying £135 for a cambelt change.
It was actually £225.01 because there was no need to change the air filter
things that were replaced/checked was
engine oil
oil filter
spark plugs
brake fluid
cooling system,
gearbox oil
etc
Well i have always liked the way f0xy's rear bumper looked, so i thought it was time to get one for myself.
After that, no touchy with the moddys! I promise
Yea, i guess no exhaust then, never thought about that.
But a 172 bumper, would mean that i should color code, but i think i will go the f0xy approach, and color code the rear bumper of course, and side strips, but leave the front. :)
Probably search in scrap yards, if not, wait and hope :)
My car is on 40mm at the moment..its fine at the mo, but i probably would go lower if i could.
After all this faffing about looking for a new car, my gf had a chat with me and so did my brother, they think its best, to just maintain the 1.2 and keep it for a bit longer, until i can afford a decent and mint CTR.
