Yeah I realise that for the budget it's going to be a phase 1 car, tbh any phase 2 for that budget will be awful. What I meant was if he could either save up a bit more etc the phase 2 would be the way to go. It's not really age, more that phase 2 cars look better imo & they are better...

I'd go see the first one first then go from there. Both ad's aren't the greatest though. Imo you'd easliy get the stealers one for 2.5k anyway if you asked them. Going in person is better than dealing over email etc - just make sure that the car sounds worth seeing !

Just bring cash with you mate, best to be on the safe side.

I use a fair bit of AG stuff, their shampoo is nice, it smells a bit odd, but it works well.

Is it not just a bit like a quick detailer? You are only suposed to use those if the cars only a tiny bit dirty.

Imo it's worth it for peace of mind. Some places will do you a cat1 for £250 Other than that you could just get an immobiliser if your worried about it going walkabout. Cat2 immobs are cheap.
