I nearly brought a 172 from motorpoint (Derby) and the guy there stated that the car came from cyprus and had only one years warranty. Imports also come without the Cat 1 alarm, so not only do you have to fork out extra for another years warranty, you also have to fork out for an alarm!! Also...

My local car supermarket is Motorpoint!!!. They are 11,999 plus 160 road tax, 58 new car reg, 400 for what they call a quad pack (extra years warranty, rac breakdown, gap insurance and something else I cant remember). The price above also included the money for the stupidly expensive alarm...

I think the cyprus cars only come with 12 months. Having to pay for second year.
