my ecu was under warranty at the time so dont know the exact cost. might be an idea to post a new topic in the parts/tuning section of the forum and see if anyone knows exactly how much reno charge for this. if u can get insured on a 172/182 dont even consider a non 2 litre model they wont...

yeah go for full dealer service history and query the ECU unit any cars you look at, for starting problems, warning lights etc. basically the electrics are the most common problem with these clios Ive had my ecu replaced and its 02 reg

welcome to cs! just find a gooden within your budget dont impulse buy either because its "fast" etc. give it a thorough check over on whatever you buy
