Not a dig at you (as your more than helpfull to lots of people on here!) but thats why things are not read because people are too bloody lazy to search and us helpfull people adopt that attitude that it wont make any difference. Plus just had a look and I suppose people read this thread...

You can assemble it back up without the diamond on. That will give you enough time to let the Badge dry. I left the plastic trim off on the boot on mine to make it easier to put the badge back onto the Lock. You don't have to but I couldn't be arsed to do everything!

Oh I can keep mine... im trying to find an easier way to do people's dash conversion's. So the idea was to get a 172 dash... convert it to whatever colour they wanted... send it to them, then they send me there's once they have fitted the converted one. That way people wont have to be...

Really?? Crap I thought that it was done from the ecu on the newer models :(

im 90% sure the mileage is done from the ECU so that shouldnt be of worry. My main thing is wanting to know which dash fits what model. Im pretty sure a 172 is same as 182 and 1.2 same as 1.4 and 1.6 though i've never seen dash from a 1.6 :(

The 8Gb if you ask me is better ;) Software is mostly the same but theres added things like GPS etc etc
