Possibly a really dumb ass question here (I am suffering severely from Jet-Lag at the mo!!) The dashes on all recent Clios Mk3 onwards are interchangable? I.e a dash from one 1.2 16v can be taken out and used on another 1.2 16v?? And from a 172 to another 172 etc etc All the mileage...

Taking this off topic but my Gas/Electricity has gone up! b******s Was 17.9p for lecy..now 25.15 :( Was 4.352 fro gas.. now 6.219. Not huge on gas but electricity has shot up.

Yes an amplifier is a lot better than a signal booster. A masthead amp has variable gain usually and allows you you trim the signal coming in. Too little signal... no picture... too strong a signal and you risk boosting interferance too much.

Ok you need the psu that powers the masthead amplifer (not the amp itself like other people have said!!) http://www.tvaerials.com/shop.aspx?categoryid=398 It will look something like the one at the bottom of that page... tho im guessing you dont have it!!

No worries... I imagine it will be either a white box...maybe black... it should open up from the rh side (hinge should be on the left) It might look something like this And there should be a power supply for it. Sometimes they are downstairs at the main TV point and people take them...

It will be called a Masthead amplifier I would imagine. There is usually a little box connected in the loft to give it power. Without power it will not work captain!! Post up some pictures if you want and I/we can help further :)
