i have had 3 quotes off them lately £950 for a valver engine fitted and supplied £1000 plus donor for gtt £400 supplied and fitted 1.8rsi, but they have none in stock. im currently savin for the 1.8 as its cheaper and i reckon i could afford it ;)

iv done it too, take the dash out, rough it up with 600 grade wet and dry (used dry) in order to make the primer stick. Use a light covering of white spirit to remove dust and allow to dry. then apply plastic primer to the surface in small coats till you build up a white coat. Leave this to dry...

thanks for the help lads, the only thing that im concerned bout with the gtt lump is that iv heard they r reliable, and im concerned in swappin a 43000 mile lump for an older lump with more mileage? faster but does it still remain reliable? ta patty

paul robo - the quote was a 1.4 supplied and fitted for £400 quid so im thinkin add uprated braskes and gearbox and we r now lookin at maybe 700/800 poss 900 quid? Im not any type of expert im purely guessin!! patty
