go for an aftermarket head unit first, it will make your sound system better on its own, then maybe go for uprated speakers (better sound again) and then if you are relly keen, amp the speakers up :D

doesnt look like you have connected your 6*9s right either, you should have 2 wires going into the left channel, and 2 wires goin into the right.. i think
