i had a milltex on my old 182 and i went through a couple sets of mounts but the worst thing was that i could never get it to sit flush whatever Jon says hes 100% right
i had a BG 182 for 4 years loved it to bits until i sadly wrote her off i then had a saxo VTS and a 106 GTI and 6 months ago went back to clios and purchsed a lovely low mileage 172 cup i love these cars like all of you lol :)
I wouldent bother with springs save up and get coilies cos in the long run if u did get springs u would need a new suspension in a few months cos the springs will smash ur dampers to bits
Dont bother with springs the car will roll all over the place within 2 months and ull get knocks and bangs if money aint to much of an option and ur planning to throw a few quid at her defo invest in a highly rated coilover kit :)
Have u had the car mapped dude ull notice a big flat spot if u aint my neighbours moan at my car for being noisy so i use my Ka at 4am when i go to work lol
Ive just read some reviews on the billies and most are good but a couple have said about knocking after 2 months grrrr im going to be flipping a coin at this rate haha
I just had a look at the Bilsteins dan....Cery nice and inside Budget they have just dropped price on the H&R kit to £700 its defo between the Bilstein, Spax, and H&R's i wont be bothering with the Gaz's now
Ive just seen a set of H&R on kam racing reduced for £700 http://www.kamracing.co.uk/renault-clio-mk2-rs-172-172-cup-182-handr-monotube-coilover-kit.html
