Yeah check your insurance, you should have windscreen cover, just give them a call, it doesn't affect you no claims, may cost £50, who are you with? Or give rac autowindscreens a call and they deal with the insurance and any paperwork for you.
They are the only people who have had my car, although don't know whether I should be blaming them now I have found out it is such a common problem - but if they are to blame or not, I still don't see why they can't fix it under warranty! It's not like I'm asking for something really expensive...
Thanks :) Can't believe how much hard work renault can be! I had so many things go wrong on my citroen, and I would just ring them up to tell them, and they'd ask me if I can bring it down that day, and they'd sort it, no questions about the warranty or trying to get out of it!
Thanks for the advice, they said they will contact me later on today, if not I will try Renault uk myself. The thing is, they are telling me that if they broke it then they would of told me at the time and fixed it, that is their excuse! They are denying everything and being very unhelpful! :mad:
