I have Toyo Proxes 205/40/17 no rubbing even on full lock!!

Renault call the lastest clio the ClioII inline with the lagunaII. These are the new models:-Dynamique, authentique, experession etc. However the arches are same size. Im sure someone has said in a previous post that they had rubbing on there 1998-2001 model but am def sure.

No arch alterations needed on clioII for 17s. You can also lower it to 60mm with 17s and still have no rubbing!!!!

Toyos. On the subject of contis, went into my local dealer and they had a new clio in and it Michelins on so maybe the new cars are gonna be on michelins.

You do need to take the top of the dash of to unclip them.

Its clios before 1998 that have a torsion bar. Ones after 1998 i.e Mk2 Mk3 versions have springs alround. You either have rear springs or a torsion bar not both.

Ive got a Sony Minidisc MDX M690. It just allows the steering controls to work. You get clock and Temp display as well. I wasnt that bothered about the full display as it was so basic. Well worth the money £50 if I remember right. What Model you going for??

The Eibach should take you 172 slightly lower than mine as the 172s are lower to begin with. Is this the the equilvalant to going for a 60mm drop on mine??

For the second time in 3months the 15amp fuse for the headunit and dash display has fused. I have a Sony Headunit and PC9-500 Adapter. Is this worth a trip to renault or is it likely to be just a conincidence???

EBC Green stuff. Heard its good, not tried them though. They claim to have reduced brake dust and less fade. About £40 for a set of pads I think.

The Clio 16v, RSi 8v and Williams do have a torision bar at the rear. The Latest shapes, Phase 2 and 3 have springs alround(This includes both 172s- No torsion bar as you either have one or the other.) Have got my 4 springs, Ive got Apex 40mm(Got them of Fred), Just waiting to get them fitted!!!
