Yes, i wish someone to fit the senders into the engine for myself and wire them up.
Of course i will be paying a permium for it, but i really would like i done.
Alan but you must be earning the minimum of Riise's pay check a week though. As most of CS does earn around £100000000 a year.
Im 19, TPFT 1998 1.2L Mark 1 clio - £560 with my dad as a named driver and my own policy.
Went down massively from £1112 last year for the same car.
PS - My dad...
Mark 1s, ahh i like mine again today. Im really sad that i would want to see it for a 172 or a 182. I actually would be sad when it goes, its taught me so much about how to fix a car and how to spend lots of time on it.
I really would be so sad when it goes, had some much crap it, and it is the...
Im after my three dials in my clio to be wired up for the "16v" look in the dash.
I already have the loom to the 16v clocks and they light up etc, i wanted to know if anyone knew someone who would wire them up for me so they actually work.
I am of course will to pay for this kind of work...
Wouldnt say mine was a poverty spec mark 1, far from that.
However the cup just fills all my boxes right now, and ive had some bad experiences with my clio. Ask any of the CS Scottish lot, its just needs some tlc, which it has all of that, even bodywork and a new engine.
Just i really am...
Well guys, im a mark 1 guy. I think ive driven my mark 1 enough to comment now.
I like my mark one, but i feel its crap to be fair. After it sliding away from me on a roundabout i feel its not cracked up to be great as everyone says. Im actually quite scared of my car when it gets wet at it...
I drove a 1.8 TDCI Focus Estate for a while and still have access to it. Now thats quick, but i really enjoy the cup.
The killer for me is insurance right now, thats what is putting me off, but with me being 19, 1 Year NCB and ive been driving for 1.7 years. So still on my "provisional full...
Wow, must say, i love it. I really do. Thanks to Gazmar1 i am now addicted.
I want to get rid of my crap 1.2l and buy a 172 no matter what i do now. Ohh the drive was great very quick and i really liked the car to drive. Nice bucket seats in his though, so i may invest in some for when i get...
Re: found this link tonight...has anyone seen it before?
Surprising that alot of the Mark 1 clios ive typed in are shwoing AS NOT Insured, including me. So i dug deeper and found out im not even on the MID which i have access to. However i am insured with valid docs.
Phoned insurance company...
Hi guys, im thinking of some small tuning modifications, so i thought i would ask here.
Most of you have had a Mark 1 at some stage so show me the CAF you fitted for them.
Thanks.
If you take the oil cap off when the car is ticking over does the noise get louder?
Rev the car slightly when the cap is off, and see if it goes louder.
I do have a locking fuel cap, and yes, where the fuel filler is, the black hose, i wondered what it was, but when i had the car on the ramp it made it clear. Dangerous to have it just there with no protection to people putting holes in it.
Does your clio do the fuel thing when you switch the...
My Mark 1 also is famous for this, the best one is when i switch of the engine at night with say a full or half tank. When i start the car up in the morning ive gone down by 2 bars. Really weird.
Just Renault quality.
They didnt check that when they put it in? Sounds like the plug washer wasnt right.
I had mine done and used a copper one, only later to find out that the Mark 1's need a rubber seal on the inside. Lost around 2l of oil (added up) then just replaced the seal myself on the driveway.
I had to take my rear cluster off, and break the blanking tab, then fit a bulb for the rear cluster to have both fog lights.
Saying that, i can have Front fogs or Rear Fogs on at different times. Mark 1 however.
