Its not as hard as a lot of people think especially if your car isn't metallic makes it easier. Silver is a pig. Just make sure you take your time on the prep work and do it all slowly. Also doing it on the driveway isn't ideal as flies and crap tend to get stuck in your laquer as it dries :S

Been looking at valvers but to be perfectly honest there rusty s**t tips lol, couldn't do with one for a daily driver unless it was an absoloute minter. I quite like the old polo (mk5?) gti's (the ones with BBS wheels) but i'v heard the steering and handling is average at best.

Blown the bulbs ! too much driving about like a charver ;) replace them with brake cooling ducts :D

theres a sticky at the top of this (insurance ice etc) forum IIRC Just type Ctrl +F then type in the city nearest where you live (eg leeds) then find your postcodes prefix.. Easy

I insured my first car as a provisional driver. Got a certificate of 1 years from quinn and this insurer is a ten month plan thing i think... :S but would that count as another years ncb with different companies ?

£1257 all in, but thats what it was last year when i took it out renewal is in december and i reckon if i stay with same company it should be under £1k..
