    I did the exact same thing. tryint to get the bolt holes to line up can be a bugger and using force to get them to line up is when mine popped out :(

    If your car is "show car" low then you can't expect it to be practical. Its a compromise and i would personally rather have a car than an ornament.

    look under your rear bumper, get on the floor. If its a 1.2 16v i think its rear springs and trailing arms just look harder ! :) The "thin rod" things your reffering to arent your rear dampers are they ? (shock absorbers) there seperate to the rear springs unlike the front setup.

    depends if your power cable is made of shielded wire or not AFAIK. Wrap the power cable in tin foil, should insulate it.
