Fair enough. They do do Gigabit connection ones. I have several sets in my house due being too lazy to cable it all up properly origionally. Now I have everything coming in through the loft and running through the walls etc.

you said avoid the carpet grippers. you can never be too sure. so as a precaution in future hammer down the nails on the carpet grippers near where the cable may come into contact. Also you should really avoid using a cable that long. Have you thought about investing in home plugs?

if its near carpet grippers take a hammer to the area thats close. avoids and incidents.

Those trainers must add atleast 15bhp aswell. Do love this car though, wheels suit it really well, not too sure on the roof rack.

OEM + is ftw. ITB's/Turbo/SC all add to that too. Too many people make track prepped cars that never see the track and then get broken for spares.

i own a 1.2, and i still think ph1 is a much better car.

cable throttle which is think is needed for the ITB's (probably wrong), slightly lighter, cheaper to buy, same engine, leaves you more cash for modifying. also, they arent nick-named ph-quick for nothing ;)

If you are willing to spend 5k on the car then go for a decent ph1 172. Then you have plenty of cash for ITB's or maybe even a turbo/SC.

ask a renault garage politely to borrow all their locking wheel nut keys. then go out armed with a jack, torque wrench and said wheel nut keys. and a couple of bricks.

Paint wise you should be the first on here to plastidip your entire car.
