I think i will try the switch in the remote line (no need for a relay).
However i dont think this is the problem, because even without the switch in place the amp seems to have no power...
I think the relays are 30A. I explained the application to the wiz-kid at Maplins and this is what he gave me..
The remote IS used to switch the relay on to power the fans..
The remote switch in the live is so that when my mum borrows the car and doesnt want thumping bass, it can be switched...
This is the current setup i have:
It used to work until i installed the switch, but even with the switch and cooling fans taken out, it still wont turn on..
The fuses on the amp havent gone..
Could it be broken?
(It hasnt really been used, just connected the sub a couple of times to check...
Iv managed to get it in by taking out one of the side trims with the grill on it. (has the boot light on one of them)
Kevo- I'm the other side of town, Boughton
Thanks for being patient with me over this..
After gathering info from all comments on here.. should this work? (with fuses in the correct places)
Also, quick question, where on the amp with the RCA connect to, and where will the sub connect to?
Thanks again
The 120mm version of this fan draws 0.15A each, and I'm using 80mm so it should be less?. Does this change anything?
Im just trying to find a simpler way that a relay, seems a bit complicated!
