the insurance is going down as my claim, which to be honest, its probably was mainly my fault.. they started adding up the clio price this morning, and were still going when i picked the micra up at 4! lol.. the garage wanted to write it off, but the insurance inspector guy wasnt happy...

just picked up my courtesy car... god its so slow, though its actually alright to drive, just lacking about 180 hp! lol

i got charged £15 by admiral to change mine over, something about admin fees etc..

thanks for all your replies. the insurance just phoned and said the car is being assessed just now, and i need to phone about my courtesy car, but i wont be able to get it until the damage has been decided. hopefully it is just cosmetic, just have to wait and see! :(

i am with admiral just now, but elephant are the cheapest renewal i have found. i found the renault assistance card thing with the AA in the car, but they said i wasnt covered, so put me through to my insurance, and they sorted arnold clark to pick me up

yeah good point mate, if its only an extra 400 on the premium, and the repairs cost say £2k, then i might aswell use it.. means the towing and the courtesy car would be covered

yeah i know, thats why i am thinking i might aswell just claim, means i would get a courtesy car, and i could just pay the higher insurance premium come renewal time..

latest is, done some insurance quotes.. with my ncb (2 years) = £1100 withouth the ncb = £1500 which isnt as bad as i thought.. its only a £400 difference so might be worth claiming if its going to cost in excess of £2k?

yeah mate, top left of the first photo, is the big dent, and one in between the stripes, in the second photo, the bonnet is actually shut, and is all mis shapen.. :(

Yeah, had the car a month, and now its in getting repaired already.. was coming along a dual carrageway, within the speed limits, and a saab pulled into my lane from the left lane, she was going around 20mph slower than me so had to slam the brakes on to miss her.. was ok but flashed...

i got about 90 out of third in my 182, one thing i miss about the ibiza, it went up to just over 105 in third, the gears were so much longer
