I placed my order on the 26th of April I think it was. I called yesterday to check on the delivery date and was told the 22nd of this month. Its still on the production line in Dieppe.
Dave, were you taking a long bend at a relatively high speed? I get something similar if I corner hard for a sustained period of time, or if the car is placed on a rolling road.
Heres a link to the clip, it wont be up for too long though as it soon uses up my bandwidth allocation hosting things like that!!

Its been ages since I did mine and cant really remember what I did! To be honest its the same as most radios for setting up.
Have you not got the manual that came with it?
Ive got a copy of the letter. It was posted by another member many moons ago. Here it is anyway: http://www.leemather.plus.com/stuff/rw.jpgLink

Yeah, I have a friend at Renault Wolverhampton.
If Id not got that I would have kept the 172 for another 12 months, but would certainly have considered another import as the price difference is still big enough to justify it. Towards the end of the life of the 172 it wasnt the case as UK cars...
Once it stops at a channel hold down the number which you want to store the channel on. Once down change it back to tuning auto or whatever it is, then you can just scroll through the presets.
Im trading my 03 Import 172 in for a new UK dealer supplied 182. The 172 cost me £12,600 and Ive been offered £8,600 by the dealer. Thats about the same loss as Id have made on a UK car as Cocopops was offered around £9,600 for the same car as mine, only a none import.
The main dealer who is...
Pretty much the same as the 182 to be honest kit wise. All late 172s had Cruise control, ESP, but no six CD autochanger.
There are subtle changes, like the seat vents and seat belts being silver, but nothing too major.
I had a Sigma M34 fitted to my import 172. Its fine, cant complain and actually has more features than the one Renault would have fitted.
Fitting it gives you a cat 1-2 rating according to the certificate of fitment I have.
Its an import Black Fox.
The dealer should have fitted it if it came from a main dealer. If not go back and make them fit it. Itll only take them 10 minutes to bang a few self tappers into it!!
Tesco are quoting me £31.00 to swap from my 03 172 to the 182. They are currently saying they will charge me £184.25 with a £500 XS because of the Cup suspension!!!
Heres a couple of pictures of Michelles. I dont know if they ever decided upon what caused it, but she had had the brake master cylinder replaced a few days before it happened...
F**k, thats terrible, really terrible Mark.
When Hippychicks car did the same I joked about it to my mom and she practically asked me to park mine away from the house!! I think its best I dont mention another doing it.
I hope it all gets sorted out quickly.

The guy that owns Deans old Valver ran a 15.5 when I left. He was going to hang around until the end of the day until the queue had gone down a little.
