Its still very tight, but feels to have decent mid range pull which my 172 never seemed to have. The kick around 5k is a lot more noticable too. But then I never really thought my 172 was as good as a few others Id driven even if it did manage a 15.1 1/4 mile, thats the best it could do. Its...
Im very impressed so far Craig. Its a fair old improvement over my 172 in my areas. It certainly goes better and has a nice deep growl to the engine note.
I put mine back in the 182 today. Here it is in the 172:

Ive just put the b2 back in mine and have placed the GPS receiver in the back. No problems at all as laser passes through the anti reflective coating, so the laser detector should be okay in the front.
y0z did shout at me as we were on an entry ramp onto the M1 I think it was. I felt in control but from where he was sat, and me driving his car he wasnt so confident. He just shouted "slow down". Which of course I couldnt or we would have joined facing the wrong way.
They beep if you arm it too quickly. The guy at the Renault dealer I got mine from asked me if I knew why his did it!! Im sure it serves a purpose, but cant see what.
Mine beeps if I lock it the second the door closes. Leave it a couple of seconds and there is just the usual clunk as it...
I posted my thoughts in a thread yesterday. http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=2&TopicID=95759&PagePosition=2&ThreadPage=1 Link
I only got £8.600 for my 03 Monaco Blue 172 with 23k on the clock. It was however an import so I only paid £12,600 for it.
We agreed that price at 19k and he stuck by it when I traded the car in 2 months later.
Originally they werent going to sell mine on as it was an import. Once Id...
The facts dont matter though Ian. People on here only believe what they want to believe. You should know that by now on here.;)
I hope some of the other mods are on to watch this thread now as Im off for a game Mashed before I go home.
More mine, I confused matters by not really answering the original question properly.
Wake up Jon. Even Ive joined in this one as so far its not a total sl*gging match. LOL
Cheers Donnyo, my bad I should have been a little more specific.
From my experience, the 172 understeers heavily at every given opportunity. But still not at all bad for a FWD 2.0 litre hot hatch.
The Cup and 182 with Cup pack (not driven one without) both happily point there nose into...
The best thing to do is try and get a test drive in each of them. They all offer a slightly different driving feel.
It just depends what you want from the car.
Craig182 and Geoff both have the yellow. We are yet to see a car in Petrol Blue (which is really green).
I didnt know there was an I.D. interior available on the 182.
Kill the auto lights and you are sorted then :D
Just switch the ignition on, not starting the engine and turn the lights on and off twice. You will hear a beep and they are disabled.
Having driven both, and almost purchased a CTR twice, first time I chose a 172, second a 182 I agree with...
