^ does that work on mk2 phase 1 cars ? (a mk1 vee)
My alarm always goes off with the slightest vibration, it's the ultra-sonics that are over-sensitive.
I think that the general lay out of the car has a major impact on how they designed it, imagine having all that body kit on a front engined car with your mates sat in the back, not a good look really.

I had a tyvek one from halfrauds that was ok, I didn't leave it on the car for ages though, a few days tops.
I have a proper breathable one for the vee, i've left that on for a week before with no problems.
The car must always be clean before using it though.
