Aye. I had to raise mine a wee bit, the underbody was sitting too low the the road imo (they seem to sit compleatly different to a MK2) i ran over a loaf of bread!!!!!????(WTF?!) on the first night in the road lol, i obliterated it!! Raised it 15mm at the rear, 10mm at the front. Gives a slight...

Ah Cabasse 6 disk...... i purchased it used. Options i have are, folding mirrors, tints, cornering lamps, and now apparently a stereo upgrade?!

White wheels FTL. Take soo much cleaning. Had some Compomotive MO's in white on my Punto GT a few yrs back. Need a polish every 3 weeks or they go yellow!!! Also brake dust..... shuddders in memory
Think its more pronounced as the 197 Clio has a wider stance, and bespoke flaired wings front and back etc. The VXR uses the same shell as a 3 door Corsa? Nice cars though, and as said nice gains to be had with not much $$$$$
Do they fook!! I've had my Cup set up there, and that was low, (on H&R's) no problems!!! Be taking my 197 next week too!!!! on the cup it was around 60 notes iirc. Get a before and after print out too!!
I'm not bothering on mine. (i think lol) Now its nice and looow, the diffuser sits much closer to the floor which imo makes it look interesting enough. Only the white 197's get away with the Cup spolier.
Plenty of CTR squirts in my 172 Cup, and it really is nip and tuck!!!. I remember having a play the other year. The CTR driver give it some from a round about, then backed off. I then overtook. As i got along side he floored it (think he was 'trying' to embarras me leaving me on the wrong side...
Some people dont like turbos though. The 197 engine is a peach, much less gruff then the 182 lump. Yes its lacking in torque lower down the range, but its a screamer up to 7K+. I've had a 172 Cup 182, and now a 197. They are all around equal in straightline speed. Mechanical grip..... the 197...
Cups dont have rear speakers, normal and R27's do ;)
After having a 172 Cup (awesome) and a 182 (not so) for over 3yrs combined.......
Pros
Sounds supurb as standard, grips like nothing i've driven. Nice short throw on the gearbox, nice solid feel. Build. Non melting steering wheel ;) Nice...
Just wouldnt. If there were x2 identical cars next to each other, one UK and one import, i'd take the UK everytime. Imports can be harder to sell on also
You will have to mod the front arch liners a tad. There is a bracket for the front bumper, that kickes out the arch liner. You'll feel it if you look at yours. I, and many others had to chop the liner slightly. Nothing major, rears are fine.
w**k, tried to edit that but you cant after 5 mins. Any coilover will make the car look like above (nice and low etc), but steer clear of the cheap stuff. I had some GAZ coilovers on my Cup and they ruined what the RS are good at..... handling!!!!. They were waaay too hard, even on the softest...
