Old Fords do the same. Anything around 1994. One key will open them all, lol.
Won't start the ignition, though.
Oh, the lolz we used to have at college. Open a mate's car while he's in a lesson. Fold the back seats down. Lock car. Watch face as he gets in.
Classic.
I want it back!
Oh, and Nick's cup has changed massively since those pics, lol.
JMS Manifold.
Asbo style exhaust & map.
One seat.
Rota slipstreams.
Awesome car though.
Varying forms of this style manifold are used on cars all over the place.
It's pretty similar to a CSL airbox. Also, someone mentions something about the Honda S2000 using a similar one.
This is the first one of this style in production for 1*2's, as far as I know.
You won't regret it if you buy a decent 172. Especially the Ph1.
Pretty much better in every way that a GTi, but not by much. A tiny bit quicker, but feel so much more solid, and in a way, more grown up.
If you buy a dodgy one, it'll bite you in the arse, mate. So make sure someone goes...
LOL. Yep, and sold them on RR for twice the price three months later. ;)
Stump up your £10 for a full club membership if you're serious about getting a 1*2. The guides section is worth it alone. There's pretty much nothing that's not been covered. Plus, for sale sections and local meets...
Ph1 and Ph2 are largely interchangable, yes.
Interiors is a fair job, but do-able.
There's always people on here asking about 106's, mate, so might be worth putting a thread up for a PX.
Saying that, the Ph1 is the best 1*2 to drive. (I've never driven a Trophy).
