I had on on my 172 Cup. Like the thick b*****d i am, i sold it on the car as i thought i was getting a CTR. Instead i got a 182 :( I will be getting another, nothing aftermarket comes close. :)
the glovebox lid still fits as bad as the phase 2 clios iirc!!
I love them, always have, not like 90% of the haters here. Had a good spank over a blue 197 with xenons, very nice, how anyone can say they look like the standard MK3's are blind. Fat wings, side vents, diffuser, even widened 1/4...
its some copper pipe with some larger rubber pipe fitted over it. It could be done with anything tbh, just needs something to pack out the spaces inbetween the X. That mount abouve was non genuine, tenner at most :)
Christ!!!, it takes me AGES to do a roof (properly ;)) After spreading the polish round (roof made into 1/4 sizes) i move the unit around 2" a second, and usually make around 10 passes or so with the menzerna range
Arch liner out, pull off the vaccum hose and BLANK (important) Remove all cold airfeed piping, disconnect and tape up multiplug. Is it worth it? Well it saves another KG or so, i removed mine on my 172 cup and my 182 with no problems.:)
Yeah, they are a poor design imo. The 172 just had two ends that meet up and bolt together, easy. 182 has a clamp that needs binning, it cant be used again. I'm lucky as me and steve fitted my Milltek on a two post lift. We paid special attention to the cat joint as it seems to cause loads of...
Yep. I had a 1.2 nova that the exhaust dropped off, just after the down pipe. Would it f**k move, stuggled big time climbing up hills that it would normally fine with!!! Will lose torque too. Get it fixed :)
yeah the 172 cup (ragnotti) ;) has a wider front track simply because of the alloys, nothig to do with the hubs. If you changed your hubs, to 182 units the suspension legs will have to be changed as the bolt spacing is different too.
The 182 cup has 60mm (seen here on my 182 cup-packed car)...
182 cup, 182 cup-packed suspension (anthricite alloys) and 182 trophy all have the same hubs. These are fitted with bigger bearings etc. A standard 182 (with silver alloys) has the 172 hub set up. Simple. :)
