    if its 2004 model it will be a mk2 ph2 the mk2 ph2 is from 2001 to 2005 the new clio is the mk3, the mk2 ph1 (mine in avatar) is from 1998 to 2001 hope this helps dude.

    definatley go no less than 60mm either coilovers or springs, and 17" aren't too small dude too big imho!! should stick to 16"'s. 17" slow you down!
