Yeah, the (minimum) 11mm margin has to be on both sides and top & bottom of the lettering. Your lettering alone needs to be 79mm in height so our "recess plates" aren't legal as they are only 84mm high.

Just changed my plates today too - what a b*ll*x!! Took ages to get those double sided things off, thankfuly I had bought heavy duty velcro pads for the new plates :) WD40, warm soapy water & sponge to remove it all and some white spirit to clean the surface before applying the new pads.

I had a bad scuff on the front bumper "blown-in" when I got my Cup spoiler painted - awesome job :) I need my rear arches & drivers door touched up now - dam previous owners! :dapprove:
