Right. The micro switch on the seat as i recall is to stop the airbag triggering if the seat is too close to the steering wheel. The swich is closed when the seat is too far forward. So as you've cut them, it will make no difference (dont short them). The resistor needs to go into the multiplug...

Mine is too low also tbh, but even on H&R's, its a world away from the old gaz set up i had.

lol. Could be the alternator, or as i said some slight short, or say even the boot light stuck on. There are some reasonably easy checks to do, but you will need a digital muliti meter, with dc voltage, and amp measurements.

......you say dont flame BUT....... i had GAZ coilovers and found what you did. Had them fitted on my cup, played about with the height and 'rebound' (lol) had camber/tracking done but to no avail. They are just s**t mate, i had them for about 3 months. Changed them to H&R's and never looked...

Just pull the standard feed hose on the right hand side, off the airbox, that'll give you some nice induction!
