Took ages on mine because the metal has to be shaped to fit round headlight.. Also then you got the welding, trying it to see if it fits ok, whatever filling to get it 100% smooth.. can take a while. Daz.

Still got bump strips.. Daz.

Welded on metal, shaped round headlights... then something else, could be lead filler then filler to make it perfectly smooth. Then you move the bonnet forward a bit using washers or something.. Dunno about Mk1, Phase1/2 cus the headlights arnt rounded like mine so might be a bit easier...

Quite a bit, but.. not half as much as a bodyshop would. :)

My mate did it.. he does all bodywork and stuff.. getting it ready to paint took about 26 hours.. so depending on how much it is per hour... Daz.

Clicks dont go to like 35mm, 75mm etc... My wheel is just under the arch.. you can see it at the midlands meet.. I think we just aimed for where we wanted it and tried to get the bar in at that point.. seemed to work! Daz.

The wheel will either be too into the arch, or sticking out too much. Itll also rub bad if its wrong I think. Not sure what offset you need for a Mk1 RT.. Someone will though! Ive got Phase2 16v Alloys on my Mk1, Phase3... and they look really nice.. but I dunno what offset they are? Daz.

When mine was installed, they lifted the rear seats, and put a bolt through the base I think... doesnt look like a renault bolt anyway! Daz.

They dont all have the same offset.. You need to get the right wheels for YOUR Clio, else it can look odd. Daz.
