i use a meguiars foam applicator pad there £2.99 for two. and buff with a terry towel. i think that goes for most people but dont quote me on it!!!

has anybody elses stering wheel look really worn and scratched? ive tried polishing it to see if i can get it looking nicer but to no avail. is this common on mk1 172s? does anybody know where i can get a better one? apart from renault because i bet they are expensive!!!

nice car dude, but id take the lexus lights off replace with mk2 ph2 standard lights, get it colour coded and get the twin headlights for the front look alot better imo. but nice subtle car mate keep it that way.

yeah id change the wheels completly go bigger are they mk1 172 wheels? get it colour coded wot ever rub strips you get inc the front grille then it will look even better. looks in excellent condition for its age.

x reg clio 1.2 8v - 22 months 1 problem ignition coil, fixe dunder warrenty mk1 172 x reg - 2 wks 2 minor problems - drivers side seat loose, seat tilts snapped on both seats. both fixed yday by renault. no charge

i had a guy in a MCS try and pass on the inside lane of the A19 on sat. he tried his best to get ahead of me but i ent past him no trouble and you could tell he was trying his best. tbh i thought they were quicker than that.

shopping list: - get stone chips sprayed/touched up - get seats recliner handels fixed cos only picked car up last wed from renault and handles are broken on both seats.!!! - fit 17" wolfrace voodoos from old clio - lower 40mm on coilovers (depending on ££ might have to settle for springs)...

yeah was thinking of coilovers poss H&R but not sure how much they are. my old clio was lowered 40mm on 17", with the 172 being 20mm lower will another 40mm be ok with my 17s on?

yeah totally agree with carbon!! also change the steering wheel colour doesnt suit the interior at all. but if you like it then thats wot really matters i guess.

both really nice not to sure about the inferno colour tho? how low is the cup? and how much were the H&Rs?
