    Never trusted electronics on a car, I check my oil levles 95% of the time I open my bonnet. As for a cambelt if you haven't had it done by now I would seriously look into getting it done.

    That bit of rubber or splitter was only given to the Cup model from the factory, can be fitted if you want one though. £130from Renault or £100 from K-Tec.

    1.4 with 75bhp would suggest a Mk2 Ph1 as the Mk2 Ph2 1.2 came with a 75bhp engine. Do you have a link to it?

    GSF or Unipart/Partco to get the parts and a backstreet garage to fit them for you would still save you a couple of hundred pounds.
