Have a small leak from mine at the moment Any way of stopping it from getting worse & curing it for good?

Mine has been looked at by the dealers who got I got the car from this week; I mentioned that it's common on the 172s and some people have cured it with stopleak. They said the gearbox oil was 1/3 full so they filled it and told me they need to bring the car back to strip the gearbox :S

Does this fix the "common" leak? :)

You could ask the dealer for some of the cup bits, might get a discount as they hadn't got the Cup-packed ones att the time you purchased. Worth a try at least lol good luck with the car :)
