Yeah for a normal car it's not. For a vee it's different, same with ferrari's etc (just an example, i'm not comparing one to a ferrari before some clever person chips in thinking that I am lol)

Wherever you put the plate, it must be lit up when your lights are on. I have seen cars with the plate in the rear window (lit up) but I can't say if that's legal or not.

It is common yeah. Take the light bit out, then tighten up the nut on the roof aeriel, that should do it. If not you'll need sealant & stuff.

I got the Tomtom 1 on friday. I covered a fair few miles over the weekend, home to surrey, to home, to milton keynes, to trax, to home. It's ace ! Never fell off the screen, it great with getting me there. Great stuff :approve:

Apart from the service book being stamped up it should have written down what was done. The seller should also have the invoice for the work too.

Welcome, the cambelt is well overdue tbh, it's about £500 or so from a specialist. if the cars not had the auxillary belt done, it'll need that too (cambelt & aux is circa £500) If it had FSH it should have had all the above done. Leaking rear shocks, fairly common tbh, there are a few on...

New base unit from renault, you'll need to take your headlining out (well pull it down) to fit the new wire in etc.

Mine wasn't. I originally wanted a silver mk1 vee (nice and original) but my blue one came up for sale. I knew how stupidly rare a blue mk1 was, saw it & it was a minter, so I got it. Happy days !
