Now got a heavy duty battery... and Ive noticed its usually failed after Ive been driving a bit.
What worries me is the fact that its usually triggered if I try and start the car with the immobiliser on..

Hey.
Ive had countless problems in the past with starting my 1997 1.2 Clio.
I have had 4 batteries on the car now (latest being a heavy duty one), and each one seemed to solve the problem, for a few months.

Give Torsion Tuning... They do the R5 GTT Conversion too, which is very cool
We were speaking to them at Southend and they were on about 1.8 16v conversions then..
Cant remember the number at the moment, I know Rob knows it...

I know fitting a rev counter to mine was a pain... different ignition system and no rev counter to start with.
Ended up paying for it too be converted to work, then wiring it myself to the DIS.
Even now, The Oil Level(?) Guage doesnt work in my 1.2 (1997 Panache).

I got the Turtle Wax stuff.. and it works great.
Got 3 for 2 (Price Offer) Turtle Wax stuff (buy 3 things, get cheapest free) so I got The Extreme Wax, Tar and Bug Remover, and Bumper/Dash/Tyre Shine.
All three are VERY good - the wax is Great!
Ill definetly be getting some more...

Mine only rattles if Im stationary doing nothing. If I increase revs to say 1500rpm, it seems to cure it.
Ill go mess with the blinds a bit, see if that helps.

Well, When I eventually get some alloys, Im going to be hosing them down every night - if you stop the dirt building up, yer 99% on yer way I reckon.
Then cleaning them when I clean the rest of the car... they should look new all the time
