I was driving a dci until December so I know what it's like to try keep up, although mine was quite nippy - loved it :)
Most of the last meet was spent at about 40-50mph anyway lol
Yeah spotted that all the time in my dci Clio, just the heating part of the mirrors now have decided to play havoc and not work at all now.
How do I get to the back of the glass without breaking it to check the connections?
Thinking I could fit the glass from my Dads Clio to check if it is...
Ok, cool. If it's the water getting in you are concerned about, can't you just seal it with some rubber until you get it looked at? :)

Try running it through the grommet behind the passenger foot-well carpet mate, should be ok there as most people use it.
Added you to msn there - contatct me or post in the meet sections if you would like to attend our N.I. meeting comming up soon :)
Welcome to ClioSport too
So it's just the actual glass then in worst-case-scenario?
That's not an expensive fix I guess, as the mirror glass isn't too expensive.
Guy said yesterday that warranty won't cover the heated mirrors - all very confusing :S
Anyone know if this is an expensive fix?
Just got my car back from the dealers today getting a few bits & bobs done under warranty. Mine was exactly as the1gardner has described above.
They said they had looked about and check things. Guy asked me to check it out and see if it was working...
I can't comment on all the techno jibberish about rms & wattage etc. as I'm not all clued up with it just yet, I'm learning though :)
Components and an amp are generally the favourite way of improving any standard setup. Tha't how I started with my last car - HU, components amp & sub - loved...
You can hide the crossovers or you can make a feature of them :)
Tweeters are best mounted in the A-Pillars - lifts the sound stage up and makes everything sound much much better - best thing I ever done with mine.
You only need to amp the front, rear will run off the HU. Even standard rear speakers are fine for providing rear-fill :)
What you select depends on what speakers you choose & your budget
Don't always go by figures & specs when choosing amps - I tried that and gave up lol. I went along with the amps from a selection that were "reccomended" by the people who installed mine. they have years of experience (with all brands) where-as I'm in the learning stages from their advice :)...
Subs - good choice
Amps - kenwood aren't best quality
Speakers - cheap stuff compared to the subs you selected
Best thing to do is start at the HU, add a good set of components in the front and then look about amps & subs :)
FLi & Vibe are much the same - made under same people IIRC.
In that "glamourous category" with the burberry caps an all, that most of us try to avoid lol :)
I'm heading out now, I'll PM you if you want a bit more advice mate
