Sorry, just re-read your first post, if it needs a grand spent on it in a few months, leave it. Imo cars where you have to shell out straight after buying just show that they haven't been maintained fully.

I've got a re-trimmed wheel on my car. It's much better than the original wheel (i've still got the original wheel which is mint, just didn't want to pass up one done in leather)

Having the arches rolled involves them cutting the lip on the inside of the arch down, if they rub on the inside where the spring is you'll need spacers. Price wise, best of calling up your local mod place in the yellow pages, unless you wanna diy it up with an angle grinder etc. You may get...
