I'd get it inspected by another garage, when it comes off you'll be able to see if it's new(ish) or not. Imo if you let the garage who you took it to to have it done they'll just throw it away & tell you that they did the job when you first went there & that the belt must have bee faulty, or...

Check the fuse to see if it's blown, it's likely to be that. Take the HU out again & look at the wires etc too.

+1 If the garage charged you for the belt change but didn't do it, sue them. To me there is no way a belt so new should have snapped.

Honestly, you'd be very lucky to get 4k for it imo. Miles are up by a lot on it, it's an early car, the front grills not the right one, wheels aren't standard ones neither is the exhaust.

I love the bubble shape RX7 to bits I really do, but to me those two are ruined by the TVR Saggy style headlights. Much perfer them as they are tbh, or with some of the other headlight conversions out there.
