JillyB, Yes that is correct.
The RenaultSport badge appears to me as the "SPORT" found under the "RENAULT" in which case, putting that badge on would make it appear as a 172/V6.
The other "Sport" models, at least the ones from around here, just say "CLIO" on the right hand side.
I...
(I know Im posting 3 times in a row, but I cant help myself! HEHE)
The 172 and V6 are part of the "RenaultSport" Family... the "proper" sports of the Clios...
The others named above (e.g. 1.2 16v Dynamique) are part of the "Sport" Family.
RenaultSport is the proper sporty, quick...
On the same note, Id like to know what Renault class as Sport.
It must be the way it looks?
I dont know of many other manufacturers who have a Diesal car in their sport range... hehe.
Everyone should all get along with each other on here.. nice and friendly chat

hmmm, I agree with the "Badging it up as something its not" isnt a good idea. But what does a car need to be "Sporty"?
Sporty Looks? Quick?
Ive got a 1.2, going to make it look "Sporty", so would it be wrong for me to put a "Sport" badge on it?
I have thought about putting a "Sport"...
hmmm, sure... maybe it was a 16v with a Williams Engine Transplant?
Would that make it a Valver or a Williams?
I would say Valver with a 2.0 engine myself...

-60mm with 17s is crazy. -60mm on 15s would look great though - and would make the bodykit I want very very low to the floor.
How could I get -60mm though? What companies make kits which can do this? I know JamesG has P.I. Kit which is -55mm on the front...
Id wouldnt have thought I could...
Ive got a JL Audio W0 12" Sub and I find its great. Id definetly recommend it too people.
I think the sub is about £99.00 now. Boxes are what, £35.00?
Anyway, thats my opinion
Daz.
Ive got -35mm at the moment. It looks cool on standard wheels. I imagine if I had 15"s and slammed it even more, maybe something like 50-60mm, it would look even better.
Thanks.
Well thats that I thought about the cost. The money I save getting 15"s I could spend on getting some adjustable shocks for the front or something. The torsion bar on the back can be dropped down quite easily.
Keep the suggestions coming, Thanks to those who have replied already

Hey,
I Currently have standard Clio Wheels and the recommened tyres (155/70/13).
I Have been looking at alloys for a few months now. Want to make the right decision so I dont have to change them sometime in the future because I dont like the choice I made.
Firstly 16s with 195/45/16 or...
