WD40 your bonnet latch and make sure it's closed properly after each time you open it, common sense really...

Most people recommend no more than 40mm before using uprated shocks, others say 60mm on normal shocks didn't effect there ride but it will wear the shocks out quicker. If your friends good with cars it shouldn't be too bad, just mind and buy spring compressors.

Sounds quite a lot to me, £50 or so for an MOT and prob about £300-400 for the service so another £250 for a clutch!

Well the Expression wheel is the same diameter, checked them both before I put the wheel on my car.

Trophy is the better car from standard though. With the 197 prices pushing the 1*2 prices down I would look at a Trophy as they hold there money better

£150 for the spoiler, £30 for the brake light and another fiver for the washer jet.

I prefer it with the spoiler, gives the back end a more aggressive look instead of just finishing in a flat window.
