Me too, I have 2 of those. Use the waffle-type towel for my wheels as it has a rougher feel I wouldnt dry the pantwork with it
Recently got myself one of these - should be good (it's MASSIVE :) )

Put it on both (inner & outer) "skins" of the door :)
You dont have to put massive sheets on at a time, do it in a criss-cross or honeycomb effect. This ensures better coverage of the door thus covering more area with the amount of DE you get in a pack.
Little off-cuts in odd-spots help to...
Not quite as much Red as you expected ;)
Took the car to the Open Weekend for www.audioadvice.co.uk
They have recently moved into their new state of the art premesis, and damn - it is cool
Their demo car ;)
I'm like a big child :o...
What on earth did you buy?
Have to admit, I just spent over £400 on a power washer, accessories and "topping-up" my valet kit :o
I still have a notion of starting my own valeting outfit - need a bit more practice and somewhere to put up a shelter though
IMHO you're better-off getting a sub & amp seperatly, with a decent wiring kit too :)
If you think about it, most (almost all) active subs are a money/space/time saver for the user AND the installer.
Cheap & cheerful bass for the "do the job rightly" gang.
main advantages of sub & amp are...
Yeah, I always make enough passes to break the polish down, so its a simple wipe afterwards.
I'm either not gettting all the swirls out with the PC, or i could re-swirling when im glazing/buffing somehow :(
Will do - hope to give mine a final inspection when I get myself some decent lighting - I'll probably make my street look like a scene in CSI with all this gear around the car lol :clown:
I used the Megs #83/80 combo on sfx pads - came up pretty well.
PB SSR range is much easier on/off though (same pads)
Menzerna IP - used it on my most recent clean with SFX-2 pad
Just as easy on/off as the PB and a really nice finish (in my eyes anyhow)
Since that I've got my hands on a...
I'm stll not happy with the finish on mine after the last buff - can see swirls at night in the streetlights :(
Something I'm doing wrong, or maybe because I'm not using haolgen spots when polishing?
What about the other one with the bigger bottle on the lance, will it cover the whole car (as below)? :)

I can't get used to applying EGP thin enough - always a b*llox to remove :(
I dont use any halfrauds cloths Jamie - they're not worthy of my car lol
Sonus ultra-plush ones from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk get my vote ;)
Yes!
But they will charge you an arm, and maybe a leg too so you won't be able to drive the car afterwards
A good re-trim is the cheaper option, and better quality depending on where you get it done.
