To re-thread the wire, you'll need to pull down the cars headlining (the grey carpety stuff above your head) then follow the wire, probably a bit of a pain to do, but it's not somethnig you'll need to do again.
Whats wrong with your radio aerial ?
I'd go with getting all the parts sorted first (if your still going to do it) then get the spacers.
There is a full kit on pistonheads, it's flame red though, it's £400
Your prices (esp for used bumpers) are a bit on the low side imo.
You will need to lower it yes, 172 sits 20mm lower...
Get some of that armourfend stuff, it's not that noticeable until your up close to the car.
It looks way better than a crappy car bra. If you get one folk will just thing it's sad, plus without being rude, your worried about a few chips & dead flies on a clio ?? Lol !!!
+1
I can't stand people/garages who claim that paperwork can/will be sent on. If it's not there when I look at the car, or they can't get me it before I pay in full i'm off. I won't buy it.
If it needs pads now, get them done (or do them yourself The aux belt needs to be done @ 36k or three years (whichever is first) so if three years is now do that too.
Be very lucky to get one for less than renaults £120.00 As said try a scrappy, or if your not too fussed on it being an actual clio item get one from another car (some megane ones look ok & they are quite cheap)
Yeah she worked for Gibson & Boyne.
5k pmsl !!! Best in the country - right on. Zonda's one (the grey one) IS one of the very best in the country imo !:approve:
Is the 51 mpg with driving normally & the thing being standard ? Or with the things done we listed (as you said you've laready done some bits)
Also just to pee on your bonfire;) my dad often gets 45 mpg from his 172, with the climate on etc & that's not granny driving either.
