Could a retrimmer not make an alternative to both thumbgrips using the "good one" as a template? I have a mint 172 wheel with only the left thumb-grip and that was my intention, just haven't got round to it yet lol

It's easy to get the hang of the PC - you learn more as you use it more. But do various cars with it - don't polish your own regularly

Yeah - very good at what it does - The bootlid has layered patches on the innner & outer skins. The only bit that shakes is the window - and your soul ;)

Thats a lot of stuff Rich - would you be able to fit a full organised detail kit in your boot (apart from water of course) ?

It's the bonnet im having most difficulty with. the arches weren't as bad - had to give it extra pressure and the odd squirt of QD to buff away a few streaks left behind - would that be due to applying in the direct sunlight? I did the bootlid about 30 mins ago as it was shaded from the sun...

Even in the shade, does the EGP take a bit of elbow grease to buff off? :S

Is the EGP hard to buff off after 30-60 mins? Guessing it must turn to a dull greyish colour when its dry (on pearl black paint)

Yep a good 2chnl amp will start you off nicely :) A 4chnnl amp will give you more options - typicaly allow you to use 1 channel per side for your comps (components) and use the other 2 channels "bridged" (as one) to run a sub if you wanted to add one. Then if you wanted more power you can...
