The PC should be fine as long as the paint isn't "flaking off" completly
But;
If you touch-up your chips and wet-sand the excess paint to smooth the surface - you will benefit from your PC when buffing the paint back up again :)

I found it cheaper for me to insure a brand new Seat Leon 2.0 Tdi FR 170 (£19k) than insure a 2nd-hand Clio 172 (£6k) :S
Just a pity about the price of the Leon lol
I am looking to paint parts of my interior plastic trim, and intend to give it a try myself (something to work-on in the shed :))
I'm new to primer, laquer etc so not sure how to go about this...

The compatibility says it is for the 1998-2004 models with the head-up display so it will work in both the Ph1 & Ph2's :)
BTW - not all Mk2 Ph1 Clio's have the head-up display - you got...
