which light is on? i had the orange engine symbol light come on (bottom right corner) when i had water in the lambda plug, it stayed on fr a few days then just cleared itself
its this accoustic valve... i think its there to mainly remove the induction noise? i've ripped mine out to make way for a cold air feed to the fog light, if taking this unit out, the vac pipe needs blocking off....
is this the fault that if it spins up (mainly in the wet) the engine/downpipe sounds like its hitting the sub frame?..... just had this for the first time today :dapprove:
yep, to a tee!, well mins a 52 plate and has just had a replacement steering rack  work that one out, my warrenty runs out on the 30th, thank god they changed it, the part was 300 + vat without labour!
well the rear bearings (for two) on their own were 53.00, can't find the discs receipt but i think around the £40 mark...... and around 15 for the pads?
i just got them from a motor factors, remember to get the rear discs WITH the bearings in...... as you can buy the discs without bearings but imo its worth renewing the lot when its off
the set up i have is standard pads and discs on the rear (these don't do much of the braking) and standard discs and ferodo ds2500 pads at the front and imo works very well, unless you track it you wount need anything else, they have a very good initial 'bite', and i've not had any fade really...
imo waste of time, the pipe needs to be bent @ 90 degrees in some parts, (to get it behind the grill) and crushed out of shape to get round bodywork etc esp with air con. This in my eyes is defeating the object of getting it there in the first place, much better route would be the fog light...
no but mine are quite a dark finish anthricite, you mean like a 182 finish? ,to be fair the photo aint the best, the wheels are in the shadow if you look, i'll have to take some better ones this weekend
think its to do with the wide rubber, it seems to 'chew' on full lock, not a nice feeling, and its the only car i've experienced with the problem, very noticable in slippy conditions
