    Turini's aren't common on mk1's at all, i'd go with getting a set & lowering it a touch. Job done :) My mates old valver had those letters in the reg, his was, M 259 KPH. His was blue too.

    No worries at all. I had a Cobra cat 1 fitted to my valver years & years ago (standard renault one wasn't category anything at all) It cost me £300 or so & it never went wrong once. Good alarm imo.

    A cat 2 is an immob, a cat 1 is an alarm with a cat 2 immob. You can get cat 2-1 upgrades too.

    It'll be the avon's. I had them on my old valver, horrible things. Nothing wrong with the standard set up on a 172 really, unless your going mad with the car.

    Beige leather in vee's is silly rare. I've never seen it, only seen it in some pics of a vee posted up at a show. The initaile did have leather in it iirc.
