Going to order my new wheels this week. im swaying towards 16s now for comfort, they look just as well too IMO - but not quite :-\ is it true that 17s will wear the suspension/bearings out quicker than 15s or 16s? if so, how much does it cost to fix bearings when they need replacing?

MMM182 you wont need your coat when your g/f is tanning her big toe ;) It says in the Clio handbook that wee space is for displaying parking (pay and display) tickets, as it is outside the tinted area of the windscreen i couldnt understand this as you can see the ticket on the window anyway...

i think yourre right R3OBC. im going to get the rims on som tym over the summer and maybe lower it after a few months. rather get my spoiler and bonnet vent done 1st not a serious modder, but i do like nice clios :cool: dont want to be going off topic ere too much- do 16s give a more comfy...

I was thinking I would get the same sort of thing . Was going to get 17s My car is just standard from new - thinking now of going for 16s, they look just as good not too sure on lowering as I like my comfort, again hence the 16s

OOPS! Just got my JVC mp3 player installed today:) Its fitted with the steering control adapter, not sure which 1 tho. On the steering stalk, when i press the volume buttons up at the same time for pause, it skips back a track - is this normal or just a bad adapter ? Hope to get pics of...

iv got a 2004 dynamique, the drivers door has no keyhole but the passenger door has :o- why? :confused:

Anybody had any trouble with warranty after puting 17s on? Was going to get my new rims today but thought id ask on here and maybe Reno first. Dont want to screw the warranty. Will Reno still service the car if I change things ? (alloys/new bonnet) Advice is everything now - im dying to...

its not being pulled in i would be concerned about, as i drive alright anyway. its when it comes to the light test in the MOT that i would be afraid of the car failing, and having to take the tint off:@ how do i know what % the factory tint is ?

hey all Im looking to get the light smoke tint done, "all round" on a black clio not sure on it now though cus of this new front side window law :confused: apparently you need to let 70% light through the front side windows. i dont know what % of light the "light smoke" will allow...

Hi all. Getting my 1.5dci soon :) I want to put 16" alloys on, will a 16" wheel/tyre fit in the spare-holder in the boot? If not, will the 15" wheel be ok in the event of a flat? help is much appreciated, cheers!

edde, i hear you barking. the air vent on the boonet is just for style, i have a non-functional one on the 1.4 - looks the dogs balls :) - myt go for the actual vent for the dci - make it blend in with the bonnet - looks even better! im thinking if i leave it to sell my "1997 1.4" any longer...

with a 1997 clio (1.4) im getting around 43mpg on long runs. about 35 mpg when scooting about town. Thinking of changing to 2004 1.5dci - put a set of 16" alloys on it and an air intake, spoiler and tints. - Any tips?
