Took the Vectra to long life in Leeds today to have it decatted and the middle silencer removed. No real power gains to be had but it does sound a lot meatier, especially when giving it some beans. Here is a quick video of it getting revved on the driveway...

It does feel quite a bit torqueier I think.

Got a pro comp filter from waitey and also a piper 4-1 manifold. Car is running a lot better then when I had the viper on it.... Here's a few shots;

Dont think so mate. The only thing i'd probably change would be to put a 3" system on it but some people have suffered a loss of torque from this modification.

Yeah, you got to watch out for the rozzers around there.....they are all nob heads.

I dont use it as a daily drive to be honest and not had to service etc I have got 28mpg from it since resetting the trip computer when I bought it which is the same (if not a little better) then I was getting from the 197.
