    Before I commit to buying ..

    195/50 r15 sized tyres are cheap as for a decent make, i'd look at going for that size. Maybe get some goodyear eagle f1's ?? I had them & rated them a lot. I've no idea on lowering though.

    I'd have gone for a plain normal plate tbh. To me smaller plates on cars with big recesses look a bit daft. At the end of the day you like it so that's what matters.

    Get an uprated battery on it, see if that sorts it. I reckon it will. Power caps are mainly used for people running big installs, not just a sub.

    These are mine. and here I never filed the lugs down, I filed the bit where the bulb holder fits as they were a bit out.
