    Welcome to CS. The trophy damper refurbs can cost a small fortune but it's to be expected when buying a trophy. None of the things seem to much of a concern to me.

    Welcome to CS, the big things with these cars are the service history. The cambelt for example is a very specialised job and needs to be done with the proper tools and by the proper operatives. If you can find the right car with this work already done you'll be saving around £600 - £700:)

    Save your money! Dont waste it on a small engine clio. When you have the funds to do it, then buy the 172:)
