the want for itbs is strong.

I would factor in more expense once they start on the belts etc. ie how long is the mot? what are the condition of the brakes? tyres? bushes? I assume when it goes to birchdown they will check the car over and advise on any of the above that may need doing, so I would budget £1k for getting it...

Noticed coolant on the driveway and turned out radiator was shagged. Bought new forge silicon hoses from pms as I thought it was worth changing the original hoses at the same time. Dropped it at rentec who changed the rad and hoses for me. They were out of type d coolant but are going to swap it...

no. I still have it. was contemplating selling it but changed my mind. been busy with selling the e46 and getting a new car the cup has taken a bit of a back seat for now.

its a no from me. preferred the old trim.

pretty sure @Djw John chopped a bit off his tip (ooooeeer misses) on his pms exhaust as it was too long as well.

cheap to buy, horrific to run. parts/fuel/road tax, all a factor of why these are cheap atm imo. rod bearings issue also scares people off them.

Welcome to Clio ownership. You will get used to things breaking, they are old cars, but when they are working they are awesome.

personally I love the blue, looks fantastic in the flesh. they had a white one and the silver fox (I think) which looks a bit like a primer, I drove the black which does look nice but having had a black car for the last 6 years I vowed never again, just a nightmare to keep clean and plays havoc...

this is a truly epic build and amazing car. bit different to the usual cliosport build thread tbf. on a different level. videos of the exhaust needed.

Noticed coolant on my drive under the cup last week as well turns out my radiator was done as well just had a new one fitted. Garage reckoned it was the original one so it lasted pretty well

personally id take it to a garage.
