My steering wheel melted on my 51 plate import AND my 02 plate import lol Neither had/has an alarm or locking wheel nuts, but everything else is the same :D

Tighten it up on the regulator. Take door trim off, and where the window glass bolts onto the regulator it'll be loose, which is why its sliding outta place

I do 50 miles a day to work and back, but because its a long run my PH2 172 averages 37mpg. I spent about £200 a month on fuel My 51 plate 172 had 101k on it when it got written off, but still ran sweet as a nut

Its your own insurance that will repair it, then claim it back from the other cars insurance, so you do have to declare it. The only thing i can think of is that they'll just replace it with a standard one, as it looks near enough standard
