lol - no, it's a liquid which you wipe over the windscreen, then when it rains it makes the rain drops form a 'bead' so they flow off of the windscreen quicker allowing you to see better. I have some, but i've never used it.
I was supposed to go Mayhem on sat night, but never went as i'm all flu'd up at the mo:( Would have been quite good seeing a few from here in there :)
Donna - I though you'd sold your car ??
Do rain x do a screen wash ? I though it was a rain repellent ? (the one in the yellow bottle) unless they do somethnig else as well now ?
As for screen wash, I just use the Halford stuff, illuminous yellow !
Looks like a hell of a lot of work has gone into it, love the way you've kept it looking standard too (best thnig to do with a series 1) as nothing needs chaging on them at all:)
I'd get a set of the side graphics on it too (although it does look clean without them)
Will you be getting it...
I'd imagine that any v6 that you got for 10k would be an early one (51 reg) with a few miles on, with quite a few owners (not surprising with this car though) it would probably also need the cambelt & water pump doing too:( I'm talking about 'straight' cars here, no cat d or v car etc.
I will...
Toomeys is a Renault dealers.
Try ebay as proper sport mats come up on there - no where near to what Renault charge, got some for my dad for £38 as new, they had only been in the persons car for 100 miles :) beware though as the quality of renault ones is rubbish, just mats etc are better...
Tbh it might be worth trawling through the sellers shops on there, they might have it in their shop & if they do chances are it'll have buy it now on it:) Items in shops can be put on for ages where as if they list them in an acual auction they can only have 10 days.
Yet another car with a bit on the steering wheel to tell you where the top of it is  I don't like the interior, the dash looks a bit cack & knowing vauxhall it'll be really plasticky.
All you have to do is search;) there are loads on there, valvers (called a 16s abroad) williams, 172's, 182's & cups (called a ragnotti abroad) 197's not to mention v6's
I can vouch for the quality of universal hobbies models (I have a 1/43 williams) solido on the other hand aren't so good:(...
clear side repeaters & colour code it, the top of the front bumper looks to be a matt colour in the pics, i'd get that done & the side strips. maybe a sublte set of skirts too ? (prob gone over your budget now though)
